Straightening the Path
I had the opportunity of interviewing an incredible, godly young woman, Libbey Eicher. She was diagnosed with scoliosis, a curve of her spine and has been living large in faith ever since. You can read the interview about her journey with scoliosis at Real Teen Faith (Part 1 & Part 2), or follow her at her blog "Straighten the Path for Scoliosis".
Wow! This is so interesting on several levels. First, what an amazing young woman! I'm so glad you shared her story.
ReplyDeleteI was very intrigued when I saw her interest in Mercy Ships. That is what I intended to do as well when I was a young nurse in my 20s. It didn't pan out for me, but I hope it does for her.
I also have a scoliosis testimony. I was diagnosed with scoliosis as a young teen. God miraculously healed me with no intervention shortly after I came to know the Lord.
Finally, the thing that really piqued my interest is that this topic keeps coming to me lately. A few nights ago I even woke up in the middle of the night with scoliosis on the brain. Today I'm going to take a look at my kids' backs. I'm wondering if the Lord is trying to bring something to my attention.
Thanks for posting this and sharing her story.
